Headache Society Singapore

The Headache Society of Singapore was registered with the Registry of Societies, Singapore, in April 2018. Current members comprise healthcare professionals and allied health partners who are interested in headache disorders.

We are a professional membership society dedicated to the study and treatment of headache disorders. Our objectives are to increase the awareness, promote patient advocacy and advance the field of headache disorders in Singapore. 

We welcome you to join to work together with with us to improve the lives of those living with migraine and other disorders that cause severe head pain.

HSS endeavours to raise the awareness, provide patient advocacy, and advance the field of headache disorders in Singapore through:

The promotion of collaborative medical research in Singapore relating to the causes,  mechanisms, diagnosis, treatment and other aspects of headache disorders, and by disseminating the useful results of such research.

The collaboration with international research institutions engaged in advancing the study of headache and to represent to such institutions the experience of clinicians, research scientists and headache sufferers in Singapore.

The provision of accurate and relevant information to physicians, other health workers and the general public regarding the epidemiology, diagnosis and management of headache.

The provision of a forum for exchange of medical data relating to headache as well as for support and assistance to headache sufferers.

The encouragement of the management of headache in a scientific and ethical manner.

  1. a) Processing of membership application, renewal and payment;
     b) Registering for HSS activities and events;
     c) Processing of receipts;
     d) Conducting of surveys and feedback for service improvement;
     g) Publication of HSS collaterals and online/social media;
     g) Handling of public enquiries or feedback;
     h) Purposes related to the services HSS is providing and/or on matters relating to your ongoing membership with SNSA.

  • Photographs and video images taken at HSS events may be used in SNSA publications, informational and communications materials.
